OUR PROGRAMS
We provide essential support and relief to those in need
Our current programs- Life Relief Gaza, Little Schools, Life Relief Cairo, The Housing Program, Palidentist and MediPal-have made a profund impact on the lives of Palestinian Community in Gaza and Cairo.
Life Relief
The Life Relief program has provided essential support to thousands of families in Gaza and Cairo, helping them survive in an environment of extreme hardship. This program plays a vital role in alleviating suffering and empowering families in a conflict-affected environment, contributing to their overall resilience and well-being and helping displaced Palestinian families to navigate the challenges of displacement by addressing their basic needs and providing financial relief.
Objectives and goals
To provide comprehensive support to families in Gaza who are severely impacted by ongoing conflict and instability and to assist displaced Palestinian families who have fled Palestine and sought refuge in Cairo.
Activities
▪ Needs Assessment and Tracking: We regularly assess and monitor the needs of families within Gaza to ensure our aid is directed where it is most needed. We conduct home visits to displaced Palestinian families in Cairo to understand their needs and provide tailored support.
▪ Food and Cash Distribution: We provide food and cash assistance monthly to help families meet their basic needs amidst challenging conditions in Gaza. In Cairo, we provide supermarket coupons for essential food items and cash to cover medical expenses and rent payments, helping families stabilize their lives in a new environment.
▪ Water Distribution: Given the scarcity of clean water, we distribute water to ensure families have access to this critical resource.
Housing Program
The Housing Program has provided safe and dignified housing for dozens of displaced Gazan families in Cairo, helping them avoid homelessness and enabling them to focus on rebuilding their lives in a new community.
Objectives and goals
To provide affordable housing solutions for displaced Gazan families in Cairo who cannot afford rent and to secure a shelter like tents for the internally displaced Palestinians.
Activities
▪ Apartment Rentals: We identify and rent affordable apartments in Cairo for one year, for those Gazan families who are unable to secure housing on their own in Cairo or and provide financial help to cover their rent expenses.
▪ Emergency Shelter and Transportation: When families need to evacuate due to attacks, we build temporary shelters (tents) and cover transportation costs to ensure their safety.
Little Schools Gaza
The Little Schools program provide access to education to more than 100 children and not only ensures educational continuity but also fosters resilience and joy in the lives of children affected by conflict, significantly enhancing their development and hope for the future.
Objectives and goals
To provide continuous education for children in conflict zones. This will offer a safe learning environment and access to education for children who might otherwise miss out.
Activities
▪ Education: We established two school: one in Deir al-Balah and another one in Khan Younis to ensure that children’s education is not disrupted by the ongoing conflict. We have 4 classrooms with 25 children per classroom and 10 teachers for the different subjects.
▪ Entertainment for Children: We implement educational and entertainment programs to support the mental and emotional well-being of children affected by conflict. We carry out activities and little parties with clowns and performances.
